A New Partnership for Sustainable Construction: ESTP and Université Gustave Eiffel Join Forces

On July 19th, ESTP and Université Gustave Eiffel signed a partnership aimed at developing and implementing joint scientific projects in the field of sustainable construction for buildings and infrastructures, covering all aspects from the material scale to the city scale.

A Promising Collaboration

Representing ESTP were Joel Cuny, Director General, and Marc Quiertant, Head of the Cachan Research Unit. Université Gustave Eiffel was represented by Gilles Roussel, President, Serge Piperno, Vice President of Research, and Teddy Fen-Chong, Director of Research & Sustainable Development. This partnership opens up new opportunities to enhance the joint work and projects of both institutions.

Objectives and Forms of Collaboration

This partnership will be realized through the joint conduct of studies, research, and educational activities, the hosting of researchers, and shared access to research equipment. Both institutions are committed to responding to project calls together and participating in national projects to strengthen their positioning with actors in construction, urban planning, mobility, and industry.

Strengthening Ties and Laboratory Visits

A visit to the laboratories of ESTP’s research unit in Cachan was organized during the signing, allowing the teams to strengthen their ties and explore the available equipment. This partnership represents a significant step in enhancing research work and innovation in sustainable construction.
