Dijon Campus

A CONNECTED CAMPUS, EXEMPLARY FROM AN ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PERSPECTIVE

Since September 2019, the Dijon campus of ESTP has been offering a program and diploma in the Public Works specialization identical to those provided on the Cachan and Troyes campuses.

The metropolitan campus of Dijon, a true urban landmark, is located just 1.5 hours from Paris and less than 2 hours from Lyon, at the heart of the university campus of the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy. Communicative and connected, the building is a genuine demonstrator and experimental site focused on the smart and low-carbon city. As a local territorial actor, the metropolitan campus is a hub of exchange and innovation directly connected to the challenges addressed by Dijon Métropole. It spans 10,000 square meters and includes classrooms, collaborative and relaxation spaces, as well as 8 research and teaching laboratories.

Regardless of your home campus, you can choose in your final year to join the Dijon campus to follow the SMART CITY option, linked to the "OnDijon, connected and sustainable metropolis" project. Dijon is indeed the first city in France to undertake a project of this scale and the only French metropolis selected-alongside London, Melbourne, Singapore, Florence, Santiago de Chile, and Haifa-for the World Smart City Awards in Barcelona.

STATE-OF-THE-ART EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES

In a welcoming, spacious, and bright building of over 10,000 square meters, our new metropolitan campus rises over four floors and includes numerous spaces for users: 8 research and teaching laboratories, shared spaces (relaxation and association areas, meeting rooms), 44 teaching rooms, administrative areas, large accessible terraces, and an underground parking lot with 90 spaces.

STUDENT LIFE IN DIJON

At the crossroads of major European capitals, Paris, Lyon, and Strasbourg, Dijon is a city that is both dynamic and human-sized, experiencing significant growth. Lively and attractive with a rich cultural, sports, and gastronomic life, the metropolis of Dijon boasts 250 days of cultural festivals per year, 6 performance halls (Zénith, Vapeur...), 10 museums, 300 sports clubs, and numerous bike paths. Inheriting a rich architectural heritage, the city also has many listed monuments: palaces, parks, and gardens. Vineyards and gastronomy also contribute to the city's and region's fame.

Dijon was ranked the 2nd best student city in 2019-2020 (L'Étudiant ranking). With over 10 major schools, the University of Burgundy labeled as an innovative campus, 36,000 students, and many international students, the metropolis of Dijon is a center of excellence in higher education.

The student life on the Dijon campus is thriving thanks to the BDE (Student Office), which is full of ideas for events to bring the campus to life, as well as the BDA (Arts Office) and BDS (Sports Office). The relationships between the Dijon campus associations and local businesses and other higher education institutions in the city facilitate valuable exchanges.
