To mark this milestone, we gathered testimonials from TUD students currently pursuing the dual degree at ESTP, as well as from ESTP students studying at TUD. They share their enriching experiences, both academically and personally.
Student Testimonials on the Program
Johanna, Romain, and Luke, students from TU Dresden, along with Marie, Luca, and Elina from ESTP, shared insights into their journeys and the many advantages of this bicultural program. They highlight the richness of intercultural exchanges, the quality of the education, and the added value this experience brings in the job market.
As Marie explains:
“This dual degree has allowed me not only to develop my technical skills but also to gain a true openness of mind, which is essential in an increasingly globalized world.”
Insight from Peer Haller, Professor and Dual Degree Coordinator at TUD
We also had the honor of speaking with Peer Haller, professor at TU Dresden and coordinator of the Franco-German dual degree. He emphasizes the importance of this collaboration for both institutions, enabling students to receive high-level training while being immersed in two different academic cultures. According to him, “the program helps shape engineers who can tackle international challenges with a global approach.”
An Opportunity Not to Be Missed
The dual degree in civil engineering between ESTP and TU Dresden is much more than just a study program. It offers students intercultural experiences, internationally recognized academic excellence, and a stepping stone toward prestigious careers.
